• Number of Beds – 18
• Number of Staff – 38 total
• Type of staff: o Day Shift – 5 RN 1 CC and 2 PCT (ideal) o Night Shift – 5 nurses and 1 pc
• Patient Ratios – 4:1
• Type of equipment – central lines, pca, foley, chest tubes, pacer wires, telemetry, drains
• EMR – Meditech
• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Able to read cardiac monitor
• Able to give narcotics

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Stepdown experience
• Cardiac knowledge

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, Mitral clip, thoracotomy, Afib, CHF, MI
• Cardiac drips (popular Cardizem amiodarone, heparin, nitro)
