Number of Beds – 15 beds
Number of Staff – 22 (RN/PCT)
Type of staff: Day Shift – 3-4RN, 2 PCT, 1 Clinical Coordinator; Night Shift – 3-4 RN 1 PCT
Patient Ratios – 4-5/1
Type of equipment – Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac monitoring.
EMR – Meditech

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

PCU experience
Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Post cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, groin management, chest tubes, post op surgical patients
Critical drips, epidurals, PCA

ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg (taking 5 patients)
