Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN Intermediate Care in Atlanta, Georgia for a 14-week assignment on nights. The PCU/step-down role requires 18 months recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac and critical vitals, titrating meds as needed, and providing patient care in a fast-paced travel setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess PCU patients; monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect changes.
• Provide care to patients requiring close monitoring in a PCU/step-down setting; intervene as needed to prevent deteriorations.
