Job Opening: PCU CNA / Nurse Assistant in New Orleans, LA

Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a PCU CNA / Nurse Assistant position in New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with ambulation, feeding, incontinence/elimination care, mouth care, bathing/hygiene, and drain output monitoring.
  • Operate hospital beds, oxygen tanks, pulse oximeters, wheelchairs, and glucometers.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, measure urine output, and ensure heel and elbow protection.
  • Manage abnormal vital signs in adult and pediatric patients.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: BLS
  • Skills: Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, vital signs, and use of medical equipment.
  • Experience: At least one year required.

Job Details:

  • Pay: $18.55 per hour
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 3, 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
