Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a qualified Paramedic to work in Tehachapi, CA for an 8-week contract on an evening/mid shift (3x12s). The role requires recent EPIC experience, CA paramedic licensure, and active BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment, advanced airway management, IV access, and collaboration with the care team. The assignment runs August 17, 2026 to October 11, 2026, with 36–48 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must have current paramedic license in California
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license (21+) required

Responsibilities

• Rapid patient assessment and emergency stabilization will be performed
• Administer medications via oral and IV routes
• Perform advanced airway management incl. intubation and surgical airway procedures
• Initiate venous access and other life-saving interventions
• Respond to emergencies using evidence-based protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, dignity and privacy
• Assist with emergency procedures including cardioversion and closed reductions
• Participate in education and training opportunities as needed

• Associate or Technical Degree
• Three years of full-time 911 system experience
• Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC)
