Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a traveling PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Boston, MA. Start date 10/19/2026. The role requires 1 year of PACU experience, a valid RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, travel employment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of PACU RN experience
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• PALS or ENPC certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from OR and evaluate post-anesthesia condition
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per PACU standards
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress accurately
• Develop and deliver discharge instructions and recovery guidelines for patients and families
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure comprehensive post-operative care
• Handoff patients between OR, PACU and post-PACU units
