Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia. Start Date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks.

40 hours per week, 10-hour days. Travel employment with favorable benefits and per diem options. The PACU RN will provide care to post-anesthesia patients, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the facility to ensure safe transitions from the PACU to inpatient or ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU.
• Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients as they awaken and recover, determining discharge to outpatient or transfer to the floor.
