Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Washington, DC for a 13-week assignment. The PACU RN will support post-anesthesia recovery, monitor patients, and collaborate with surgical teams.

Expect 40 hours/week, 8-hour day shifts, ACLS/BLS/PALS required, 1-2 years acute care experience, and a fast-paced environment. TotalMed offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care RN experience.
• Travel assignment for PACU, 13 weeks, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-anesthesia patients in PACU.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to physicians.
