Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The PACU RN will provide post-operative observation and care, monitor for adverse reactions, and coordinate with physicians to ensure safe recovery for patients across pediatric to adult ages. This assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Travel position includes tax-free stipends and weekly pay with benefits after start date.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS are required; 1 year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide PACU care and observation for post-anesthesia patients.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report to physicians.
• Assess readiness for transfer to a room or next step of care.
• Adapt care plans for pediatric to adult patients.
