Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, traveling to facilities in the area.

The PACU RN will provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia, develop care plans, monitor for complications, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, timely recovery.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts on travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Monitor patients for changes and report to physician.
• Determine when patients are ready to move to a room.
