Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a PACU RN for a critical access hospital in Vermont. The role covers Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery units, requiring strong proficiency across all three specialties and an active VT RN license or compact license.

Shifts are 10 hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with on-call Fridays as needed and occasional weekend requirements. Travel experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to start IVs and operate within a small facility.

Qualifications

Active VT RN license or compact license required.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
2+ years of outpatient PACU experience required.
Experience in Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery preferred.
Must be able to start and maintain IV lines.
Small facility experience preferred.
Must have own vehicle and a PACU/Endoscopy skill set.

Responsibilities

Outpatient PACU coverage in Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery at a critical access hospital.
10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday; on-call Fridays as needed.
Periop starts 6:00 AM, Endo 6:30 AM, Recovery 8:00 AM.
On-call one night per week and every 5th weekend as scheduled.
Provide care across Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery units; travel experience preferred.
