Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced PACU RN with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and pediatric and GYN care experience. You will work in a hospital-based PACU, handling general PACU cases with pediatric and GYN attention.

Shifts are 10 hours long (day/evening), 40 hours weekly, with biweekly orientation and manager-approved schedule requests. A personal vehicle is encouraged for commuting, and local candidates are not accepted.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with VT or compact license required on acceptance
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Dysrhythmia testing required
• Experience caring for pediatric and GYN patients
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit of a hospital
• Care for general PACU patients, including pediatric and GYN cases
• 10-hour rotating day/evening shifts, 40 hours per week
• No floating or charge responsibilities required
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for various surgical patients
• Biweekly orientation sessions
• Schedule requests are approved at the manager's discretion
• Personal vehicle is encouraged due to limited public transport
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
