American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU travel assignment in Amarillo, TX. The role requires travel experience, pain management skills, and a TX or compact RN license. Start ASAP for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities include PACU care, epidural/postoperative pain management, and epidural analgesia with a PCEA pump; Epic EMR experience is required. Orientation is onsite; strict RTO rules apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years PACU experience; 5 years preferred.
• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Travel nursing experience required.

Responsabilités

• Work in PACU and pain management setting.
• Three 12-hour day shifts (6:00–18:30) per week; 36 hours.
• Maintain patient ratio 1:2 and assist with epidural procedures.
• Utilize PCEA pump for patient-controlled analgesia.
• Complete orientation modules onsite (RN 4–6 hours).
• Travelers must adhere to RTO rules and cannot work in pairs.
