Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel assignment in Bel Air, Maryland.

The RN will provide post-anesthesia care during the night shift on 12-hour rotations, with roughly 36 hours per week across three nights, serving a diverse patient population from adolescents to geriatrics.

Required: Maryland RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of 2 years ICU/critical care experience; familiarity with Epic is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience.
• Nights 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week.
• Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care during the night shift for PACU patients.
• Monitor patient recovery, airway, vitals, and discharge readiness.
• Collaborate with surgical and ICU teams to manage complex cases.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety and discharge planning.
