Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a skilled PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Enid, OK. The role focuses on recovering patients from anesthesia, monitoring vitals, and coordinating post-operative care with the surgical team.

Requirements include one year of PACU experience, an active RN license in OK, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. ACLS and BLS are essential; PALS/ENPC preferred. Travel pay with comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations (OK).
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient recovery and post-anesthesia condition.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in PACU.
• Document patient assessments and progress in medical records.
• Deliver discharge instructions and patient/family education.
• Collaborate with surgical team for comprehensive post-operative care.
• Handoff patients between OR, PACU, and post-PACU units.
