Amergis is seeking a PACU RN for a travel assignment in Enid, OK. The nurse will care for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor vital signs, and support safe emergence from anesthesia in a level I trauma center setting.

Applicants must hold an active RN license in the relevant state, ACLS/PALS certifications, and meet regulatory requirements. Travel-friendly position offering competitive pay and benefits.

Formación

• Current RN licensure in the state in which RN is working.
• ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working in Phase 1 PACU required.
• 2+ years recent PACU experience required.
• Not surgical center experience - they do not see the level of complexity of patients that we see in a level I trauma center.
• Candidates must possess the ability to think critically and to work independently.
• PALS, BLS & ACLS - Required.
• CPAN, TNCC, CCRN - highly desirable.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required.
• PACU/Preop Experience - Required: 2 Years.
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program - Required.
• BSN - Highly desired.

PACU RN - Travel - Days job at Amergis. Enid, OK.

The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have undergone anesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for observing and treating a patient postoperation and making sure that they safely awake from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedation is wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patients are regaining consciousness.

Minimum Requirements
