Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine. The role supports postoperative recovery in a 19-bed PACU unit with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

The position offers 13 weeks, variable shifts, 36 hours weekly, and requires ACLS, BLS, PALS, and an active RN license. Ambulatory/inpatient recovery, trauma, and Cerner EMR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and active state nursing license.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Willingness to float and adapt to variable shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage arterial lines and monitor hemodynamics.
• Recognize and treat dysrhythmias and administer meds including blood products and emergency drugs.
• Care for ventilated patients and perform IV starts, central line care, and wound Vacs.
