Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Denver, CO. As a member of our team, you'll provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia, perform post-operative assessments, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient recovery.
Starting dates in October 2026, 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts. Travel RN benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, PTO after 1560 hours, and licensure/CEU
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
Responsibilities
- Receive and assess patients transferring from the operating room and post-anesthesia condition.
- Monitor vital signs, level of consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per PACU guidelines.
- Document assessments, interventions, and recovery progress accurately.
- Collaborate with the surgical team and other providers for post-op care.
- Deliver patient and family education on discharge requirements and recovery.
