Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN for PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Walnut Creek, CA. The assignment starts 11/03/2026 for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts (09:00–21:30).

The RN will provide post-anesthesia care in a hospital setting, monitor patients, and support safe and comfortable recoveries after surgery. Required: California RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS, at least 2 years in PACU and pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years of recent PACU experience.
• Pediatric experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor patient recovery and vital signs.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort after surgical procedures.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.
