Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Minot, ND. The role focuses on coordinating care for patients recovering from anesthesia, with responsibilities including assessments, post-operative care plans, and collaboration with the surgical team.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of PACU experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications; PALS/ENPC are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN is required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from the operating room and evaluate post-anesthesia condition.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post-anesthesia nursing protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress in medical records.
• Develop and deliver patient and family education plans, including discharge instructions.
