Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Berkeley, California. The role focuses on caring for patients recovering from anesthesia, performing assessments, and coordinating post-operative care within the surgical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience required.
• Active California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS or ENPC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients on transfer from OR and evaluate post-anesthesia condition.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications per post-anesthesia nursing protocols.
• Document assessments, interventions, and recovery progress accurately.
