Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Bay City, MI. The PACU RN provides specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, assessing recovery, implementing post-operative care plans, and coordinating discharge or transport with the care team.

Qualifications

One year of recent PACU RN experience.
Current RN license per state regulations.
Active BLS certification.
Active ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Receive and assess patients transferring from the operating room and monitor post-anesthesia condition.
Monitor vital signs, level of consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post-anesthesia nursing techniques.
Document assessments, interventions, and recovery progress in medical records.
Collaborate with the surgical team and other providers to ensure comprehensive post-operative care.
