MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. The PACU RN will recover patients from anesthesia and monitor them as they awaken, with discharge or transfer as needed.

Requirements include RN license, nursing degree, BLS/ACLS certifications, and 18 months of PACU experience in acute care settings. Travel benefits and weekly pay are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of Acute Care PACU experience.
• Active RN license and nursing degree from accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recovering patients from anesthesia in PACU.
• Monitor patients as they wake from anesthesia and determine disposition.
• Provide care for post-operative patients and monitor/vital reassessment.
