Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. The position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts. Start date 09/28/2026.

Must have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Travel nurses enjoy tax-free stipends and weekly pay, with comprehensive benefits. As a PACU RN, you will monitor post-anesthesia patients, develop care plans, and determine when patients recovery allows transfer to a room.

Qualifications

• RN with 1-2 years of acute care experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-op patients as they recover from anesthesia
• Monitor patient status and report changes to physician
• Develop individualized care plans and determine readiness for transfer
