ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to cover Perioperative, Endoscopy, and Recovery departments on a 13‑week travel assignment in Vermont.

The role requires 2+ years PACU experience, perioperative and endoscopy familiarity, and the ability to start/maintain IV lines. Licensure in Vermont or a compact state, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS, is required. Travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current Outpatient PACU experience is required.
• Experience in Perioperative and Endoscopy settings is required.
• Must be able to start and maintain IV lines.
• Active Vermont RN license or Compact license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• BSN degree is preferred.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with occasional Fridays when on call.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will cover Perioperative, Endoscopy, and Recovery departments. Candidates must demonstrate high proficiency in each specialty area to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Perioperative unit, Endoscopy, and Recovery.
• Start and maintain IV lines for patients as needed.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of current Outpatient PACU experience (Required)
• Experience in Perioperative and Endoscopy settings (Required)
• Must have the ability to start and maintain IV lines (Required)
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Experience in small critical access facilities preferred.
• Active Vermont RN license or Compact license (Required)
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS from the American Heart Association (Required)
