Job summary

General Healthcare Resources, Inc. seeks a Travel PACU Registered Nurse for a 17-week assignment in Albany, GA. This role supports post-anesthesia recovery across pediatric to adult patients, with a wide range of surgical specialties.

The RN should have PACU experience, GA licensure eligibility, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Expect three 12-hour days with call responsibilities in a dynamic perioperative team.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or eligibility.
• At least 1 year of PACU or post-anesthesia recovery experience.
• Experience with anesthesia types across age groups.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical patients.
• Monitor airways and manage endotracheal tubes and ventilators.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage arterial/central lines and drains.
• Assess post-operative pain, BP changes, sedation needs, and medication effects.
• Initiate and maintain ordered infusions including anticoagulation and vasopressor drips.
• Conduct post-operative neurological and vascular assessments.
• Participate in call coverage and coordinate with care teams.
