Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lancaster, Ohio. The PACU RN provides specialized post-anesthesia care, monitors recovery, administers treatments, and coordinates with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge or transfer.

Requirements include one year of PACU RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications like PALS/ENPC may be considered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a PACU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients recovering from anesthesia and monitor post-anesthesia condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per PACU standards.
• Document patient assessments and recovery progress in medical records.
• Coordinate discharge or transfer planning with the care team.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure comprehensive postoperative care.
• Respond to emergencies per PACU protocols.
