Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel PACU RN for a 13-week assignment in Augusta, GA. The nurse will care for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor vitals, and coordinate post-operative care with the surgical team to ensure safe discharge planning and timely transfers.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of PACU experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits are provided to support travelers.

Qualifications

• One year of PACU RN experience required
• English language communication proficiency required
• Ability to read and follow instructions and perform PC tasks

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from operating room and monitor post-anesthesia status
• Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per PACU protocols
• Document assessments and patient progress in medical records
• Coordinate handoffs between OR, PACU, and post-PACU units
