Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Saginaw, MI. The RN will provide specialized post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient discharge. This travel role offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Required qualifications include 1 year PACU RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications may include PALS or ENPC. Benefits accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients transferring from the operating room and evaluate post-anesthesia condition.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and post-anesthesia treatments.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress.
• Collaborate with the surgical team for post-operative care and discharge planning.
• Operate PACU equipment and respond to emergencies as needed.
