Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU for a 13-week assignment in Saginaw, MI. The PACU RN provides care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery, conducts assessments, administers medications, and coordinates with the surgical team.

This travel position offers competitive pay, full benefits, and 12-hour day shifts, with 36 hours per week and start date of 10/12/2026. Valid RN license in Michigan, BLS and ACLS required; additional certifications like PALS/ENPC

Qualifications

• One year of PACU RN experience.
• Valid Michigan RN license or state compliance.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive and assess patients transferring from the OR and evaluate post-anesthesia condition.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per post-anesthesia nursing techniques.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure comprehensive post-operative care and timely discharges.
