Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Olympia Fields, Illinois. This role requires 13 weeks of assignment, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour day shifts in a travel capacity.

Immediate opening with BLS and acute care experience preferred. As a PACU RN, you will monitor postoperative patients as they recover from anesthesia, develop care plans, and coordinate with the medical team.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post-op patients as they recover from surgical anesthesia.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report to physician.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient’s condition.
• Assist with patient transfer to rooms as they recover.
