Job Summary:
Pacuation (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the Denver metropolitan area. This seasonal travel assignment involves providing care in a post-anesthesia recovery setting, supporting a busy unit that handles various surgical cases, including neuro, orthopedic, general, gastrointestinal, gynecological, and robotics procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/28/2026 and ending on 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Critical Care experience and/or Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience, PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke care, ability to adapt to a high-acuity environment, outgoing and flexible personality
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The unit has a total of 59 bays across PACU, surgical robotics, and orthopedic surgery centers, with approximately 70 staff members including RN and patient care techs. Staff work in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 2-3 patients, employing GE monitors and Meditech electronic medical records. The unit cares for high neuro volume, stroke patients, interventional radiology cases, TAVRs, and other surgical procedures. The team is known for high staff satisfaction at 91%, supporting a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
