Job summary

Cross Country Allied seeks a Travel Speech Language Pathologist in Anchorage, Alaska, to support outpatient services for adult and geriatric patients. The 13-week assignment involves evaluation, treatment planning, education, dysphagia services, and documentation in a healthcare setting.

Shifts are five 8-hour days with 40 hours per week; four 10-hour options may be considered. First-time travelers accepted; CL/CBP considerations apply. Travel housing and benefits are provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• BLS certification required.
• Compact license in hand at submission.
• Experience with electronic charting systems.
• Experience providing outpatient services to adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients in outpatient setting.
• Develop plan of care and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Perform dysphagia assessments and interventions.
• Document evaluations and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
