Cross Country Allied is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for an outpatient travel assignment in the Auburn, MA area. You will support treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist and deliver interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, education, infection control, and collaborative care. The schedule is days, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week with a start date of 11/23/2026.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• CAPTE certification.
• At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification and active state license where services will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs established by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, endurance, balance and functional skills.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, canes, crutches, walkers and wheelchairs.
• Document patient progress and responses, maintain infection control and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the care team and participate in conferences and quality improvement activities.
