Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Davenport, Washington. The role is outpatient with a mix of inpatient work, totaling 36 hours per week on a 4-day schedule with days shifts.

Must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and hospital or long-term care experience. A current PT license and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) are required. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited physical therapy program
• Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting
• Current Physical Therapist license if applicable
• Current BLS certification or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Strong documentation and verbal communication skills
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care to patient population

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to assess physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy such as massage and therapeutic exercises
• Maintain detailed patient records and report progress to providers and families
• Communicate with patients and families from diverse backgrounds
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and rehab staff; participate in in-services and team meetings
• Contribute to peer performance reviews as requested by supervisors
