Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to treat adult patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, requiring 1+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting treating adult patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:10 per day
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Epic charting system required
• Floating to other facilities within a 75-mile radius may be required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification requiredCurrent PT license required if applicable
• Epic experience required
• Experience treating orthopedic conditions including ankle sprains, DDD, DJD, hip fractures, knee injuries, and post-op joint replacements preferred
• Experience with gait training, extremity mobilization, and modalities such as cryotherapy, e-stim, and moist heat
• Skilled in documentation including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries
• Experience with adaptive and assistive devices such as gait belts, walkers, and slings

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, home exercise programs, and patient/family education
• Focus on orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation, including post-stroke and Parkinson's disease care
• Billable and non-billable orientation modules required, averaging 2-8 hours and varying by specialty
• Candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted
• Former INTEGRIS employees must have at least 1 year of separation before becoming eligible for travel assignments
• Open to first-time travelers
