Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Mt Vernon, OH is seeking a travel Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week assignment. You’ll work under an OT to help patients improve daily living skills, with 35 hours/week and 7-hour shifts. Ohio licensure and COTA NBCOT, BLS required; state licensure is required.

Travel OTAs must have 1 year of OTA experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift and assist patients safely. Benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and more.

Qualifications

• 1 year OTA experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• State licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT.
• Document patient performance and progress per guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training and adaptive equipment.
