Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Clearlake, CA. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call duties and a mix of outpatient and acute inpatient care.

Start date is ASAP with September availability. Candidates must hold a California OT license and have an accredited OT degree, plus strong communication and teamwork skills. Newer providers may be considered based on interview.

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist license.
• Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Newer OTs may be considered based on interview and clinical background.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions focused on improving functional independence and quality of life
• Treat patients across outpatient and acute-care settings as needed
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans appropriately
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment goals and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
