Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Tucson, Arizona. The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, with eight-hour shifts. OT candidates should have 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing a plan of care, and documenting progress per state and payor guidelines. Requires NBCOT-OTR, BLS, and state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of OT experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state licensing required.
• OTs must be able to stand/walk for long periods and have anatomy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history, observe tasks, and assess patient needs.
• Develop and implement a plan of care with specific goals.
• Help patients perform daily tasks and assess home/workplace needs.
• Educate family and employer on patient accommodation and care.
• Recommend equipment and document progress per guidelines.
• Provide timely documentation for evaluations and reporting.
