Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Morton, Illinois. The role starts ASAP and involves 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift in a skilled nursing facility.

The OT will plan and implement individualized therapy programs, help patients improve daily living activities, and instruct on adaptive equipment use. Eligible candidates must have an OT degree, state licensure, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Occupational Therapy license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Planning and conducting individualized occupational therapy programs in a nursing home environment.
• Helping patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
• Teaching patients skills or techniques on how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities.
• Studying, evaluating, and recording patients' activities and progress.
