Job summary

TotalMed Allied is actively seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Albuquerque, NM. The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and work in acute care settings to improve daily living skills for diverse patient populations.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (new grads welcome), BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensure. Ability to stand/walk for long periods, and strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months of OT experience required; new grads may apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR certifications with state licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Educate patient family and employer on accommodations and care.
• Assess and record patient activities and progress for evaluations and billing.
