Job summary

Volare Health in Medford, Oregon is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment programs for skilled nursing residents.

This position offers flexible 3, 6, 9, or 12 month assignments, competitive pay of $48–$65 per hour depending on licensure and experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. You’ll join an in-house therapy team focused on resident outcomes and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Oregon or eligibility for licensure
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and collaboration skills
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required
• Commitment to patient-centered, goal-driven care

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment programs
• Design effective treatment plans and establish functional goals
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve independence in daily living skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support resident outcomes
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use
• Complete accurate and timely documentation and billing
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
