Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics for a travel nursing position in Tyler, Texas. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek and night 12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00).

The RN will join the MS Ortho Unit and provide high-quality orthopedic care, including medications, assessments, and discharge planning. Requirements include 2+ years of nursing, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, and Epic charting experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an orthopedic unit.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a patient ratio of 1:6.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans.
• Manage IV therapy and various medical devices.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
