Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics in Cypress, TX is seeking a Travel Ortho Registered Dental Assistant to support orthodontic treatment on-site with travel to sister offices. The role requires chairside assistance, radiography, and patient care while following doctor preferences.

Preferred bilingual Spanish speaker; on-site with travel to multiple Texas locations. This position offers full-time hours and opportunities for growth within our orthodontics and broader dental services network.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• 1 year: Orthodontics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist in treating patients.
• Instruct patients on elastic treatment.
• Prepare tray setups according to doctor preferences.
• Take diagnostic quality X-Rays and attach to patient chart.
• Mix amalgam, cement, and prepare impression materials.
• Pour, trim, and polish impression trays.
• Assist with bonding, banding, debonding orthodontic patients.
• Place and cement bands.
• Set up orthodontic brackets and remove excess cement from brackets and bands.
• Make retainers and bleaching trays.
• Provide excellent chairside assistance and stay in sync with the doctor.
• Take patient initial, progress, and de-bond photos.
• Take scans of patients for clear aligners or models.
