Job summary

TotalMed RN in Lone Tree, Colorado seeks an experienced travel nurse specialized in Orthopedics for a 13-week assignment. The role is 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and requires ACLS, BLS, and 1 year of acute care experience.

You will provide bedside care, administer medications, change dressings, start IVs, and educate patients. You’ll join a fast-paced Med/Surg team with ongoing discharge planning and patient education responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• 12-hour night shifts for a 13-week travel assignment.
• 1 year of recent acute care MedSurg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients.
• Administer and document prescribed medications.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
