Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for an Orthopedic/Med/Surg unit in Denver, Colorado. The role is a night shift on a 4x12 schedule with 48 hours per week, starting Oct 12, 2026, for 13 weeks, and requires at least 1 year of Ortho or Med/Surg hospital experience.

The candidate should hold an active CO (or compact) RN license, BLS, and prefer ACLS. No long gaps in employment will be considered, and onboarding includes magnet hospital culture and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active CO or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of current Ortho RN or Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting required.
• Ortho/Spine experience preferred.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months.
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for orthopedic and spine surgery patients.
• Join a unit known for strong teamwork, outcomes, and engagement.
• Work in the Ortho/Neuro unit with a 4x12 night shift schedule.
• Chart using Meditech EMR and maintain patient records.
