Job summary

Pride Health in Richmond, VA is seeking a Travel Surgical Technologist to join a busy Operating Room team. The role requires extensive experience across multiple surgical specialties, including robotic and orthopedic procedures, with a 36-hour work week and day shifts.

You will scrub, prepare rooms and instruments, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with RNs, surgeons, and OR staff to support procedures across multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• Previous Surgical Technologist experience
• Robotic surgery experience – REQUIRED
• Orthopedic experience – REQUIRED
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain sterile fields and follow aseptic technique.
• Scrub and assist with surgical procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon and surgical team needs.
• Support procedures across multiple specialties.
• Maintain accurate counts and follow OR safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with RNs, surgical assistants, surgeons, and other OR staff.
