Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in York, Maine. The travel RN will support the OR team, circulate or scrub as needed, and ensure patient safety during procedures.

The role requires 1-2 years of acute care OR experience, BLS/ACLS, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Start date is 10/12/2026 for a 13-week engagement, with 36 hours per week and days shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN in OR
• Active RN license with certifications: BLS; ACLS
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients
• Prepare and handle instruments within sterile field
• Monitor patient during surgery and respond to complications
• Maintain instrument inventory and ensure correct procedures for each patient
