Job summary

Operating Room (OR) Nurse, located in Los Alamos, NM, will provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a 3-bed surgical unit serving all ages. The role involves supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care during surgeries.

Cross Country Nurses offers a travel RN role with 40 hours per week on days, 8-hour shifts, and a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• Certifications ACLS, BLS, PALS required for RN work in NM.
• Registered Nurse license in New Mexico required.
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience preferred.
• Must meet location requirement: 60 miles or more from facility.
• Submission requires current certifications at time of submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative preparation, intraoperative care and post-operative recovery support for all ages.
• Support surgical procedures and ensure patient safety in the OR.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
