Job Summary

Los Alamos, New Mexico Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN). The RN in the OR - Surgery specialty provides patient care in the perioperative setting and supports surgical services based on unit needs and call requirements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Additional Information: Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Weekend hours are every other/as needed. Call requirements as needed, with 10–11 days of call each month (or 15–16 days per month if only two staff). Float requirements may be needed, including pre‑op.
• All clinical staff in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed. Travelers may start on a 14‑day waiver while waiting on results but must be supervised. Each agency needs an account with the New Mexico Department of Health (NM DOH), and compliance teams will enter clinicians into the portal for background check processing.
